We are building strong communities
Who We Fund
We make capital grants to social service, academic enrichment, youth development, arts, and environmental nonprofit organizations in San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, and San Mateo counties that provide direct service to the following populations (more than 50%): low-income children, youth (ages 0 to 24), families with children, and people with disabilities. We also consider applications from K-12 schools exclusively serving children with learning differences, with priority consideration given to those serving a significant percentage from low-income backgrounds.

What We Fund

We will fund any contracted labor directly associated with the project.

We fund durable items such as musical instruments, tools, and appliances.

We prioritize equipment purchases that will be used by program participants.

We prioritize vehicle purchases that transport participants.
Where We Fund
Grants are only made to organizations primarily serving residents of San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, and San Mateo counties. The requested durable capital must also be located in these counties.
